Sessions

The Association of American Universities (AAU) and The Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) invite you to participate in an educational webinar series on antisemitism, Islamophobia, and advancing religious pluralism.

This series aims to increase your knowledge, introduce you to historical and contemporary manifestations of antisemitism and Islamophobia, and learn ways to engage religious diversity and promote pluralism in your work. The goal is to help leaders develop practical strategies for creating a welcoming and inclusive educational environment.

Advancing Religious Pluralism: Bridging Divides in Higher Education

June 21, 2024 at 2:30 – 4 p.m. EST
Todd Green, Ph.D., Director of Campus Partnerships, Interfaith America
Rebecca Russo, Vice President of Higher Education Strategy, Interfaith America

This session will help participants understand the changing religious demographics in higher education, learn an interfaith framework and methodology for bridging deep differences, and hear about promising practices for advancing religious pluralism on campus. By creating a culture of interfaith cooperation on campus, colleges and universities can serve as models for the rest of society and equip students to lead in a religiously diverse world.
